Due to the virus and Government edicts, Spiral has postponed all holidays until further notice. Any holidays not run this year will be transferred to similar dates in 2021. We will advise you as soon as holidays can resume.
The Spiral Media Centre
A unique facility - home to the only 24-hour radio station run by adults with learning difficulties. Transmitting over the internet to mobile phones and computer devices around the world.
Our Students of mixed abilities and ages gain skills in all aspects of media through making Radio-shows, TV-shows, Filming, Music, Photography, & Computers.

GoodLife Day Centre Activities
The Goodlife Day Service provides a broad range of weekly activities from 9.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday. Currently, sessions include Folk Music, Arts & Crafts, Outings, Karaoke, Cookery, Bowling, Line Dancing and cinema.

Clubs - Outings - Events - Parties
Spiral runs leisure clubs and activities all week round so that you have a lot of choices in the evenings and at the weekends as well. These include The Monday Sci-Fi Cinema and Snooker club, Tuesday Music band practice and Karaoke, Wednesday Out & About Games club, Thursday Upbeat Disco, Saturday art and crafts social club, Sunday Meal & film Club, Parties, Outings, and a variety of shows and Pantos

For our Active Younger Adults
The Spiral Jets take part in lots of sports and community-based activities across Brighton.
These include Basketball, Football, Cricket, Cinema and 10-pin bowling.
The Spiral Flashback Dance Crew Perform modern dance routines at various shows and venues throughout the year.

Spiral Membership

Our membership is restricted to adults with learning difficulties including Autism, Downs Syndrome, global development and much more. If you are unsure if Spiral is appropriate for you then please either call or email our friendly team and we will try to help.

Spiral would not be able to provide such a varied range of services to support adults with learning difficulties without the help of lots of volunteers with many varied skills. The more helpers we have, the more we can do to support people. However many hours you can offer a week, we would like to talk to you. Volunteering is a great way to meet people, make new friends and get opportunities to learn new skills. So, please call or email us and start a new chapter in your life.
