Media Centre Day Courses
The Spiral Media Centre offers day services specialising in most aspects of media for adults with learning difficulties. The main emphasis on everything we do here is fun so that our students thoroughly enjoy their days whilst they learn a host of new skills. Our productions are accessible to people around the world through the internet. Our radio station, "Spiral Wave Radio" has been transmitting 24 hours a day for over 5 years and more recently Spiral TV. Both of these are available on computers, mobile phones, tablets and laptops.
At Spiral you will have the opportunity to gain skills and experience in the following aspects of Media including Radio and TV show production and broadcasting, photography and filming, making music, learning to DJ, creating scripts for plays and shows, producing Spiral comics and magazines, and many computer and communication skills.
